Get more from your interactive Smart white board with training

Learning how to get the most out of your whiteboard is important. Whether you use it for business or for school, here are some tips on how to maximise your use of the white board, and are very important for your audience to enjoy the white board.

Tips on how to use the Smart white board

  1. Ensure the board is positioned relative to the audience so that everyone can see it straight-on. This is the optimum viewing angle, and is important for viewing the white board properly.
  2. If the sound is too quiet and, especially, too loud, it will lead to a poor presentation. Do a sound test before the audience / class arrive. However, remember that bodies absorb sound, so it's good to do a test again when the audience arrive, and ask if the level is fine.
  3. Use some interactivity in your presetation. The whole advantage of having a Smart board is allowing the audience to interact with the board and lesson. Remember, if they 'do', they have a greater chance of remembering.
  4. Be careful though, don't 'do' just for the sake of doing. A few interactive whiteboard resource producers ask the audience to do specific things with no learning outcome derived from it at all.
